Hmm good question! We have only been up for a few weeks so the population is very low still but it's improving every day. One of the main reasons to use this server, in my opinion, is the good rates and the availability of many premium items for a reasonable amount of currency. Nobody is forced to donate for anything, everything can be obtained for free given time, since you can get the currency (Scrub's Tears) just by being online and also by voting for us.
