    I Waste More Money Enchanting my item this way, Cause If you Fail Its AutoMatic Downgrade~ so to me its like im wasting 2 times the ammount of money to Enchant to +10, I went to +7, then Failed 3 Times In A Row, i cant go past +8 XD. I Prefer if you atleast put back in the Item Fail but no Downgrade~

    Because since you erased item break mechanism from system which we were able to get protected with protection scrolls. only left are success or revert back. And since success rate decreased , with 10m i couldnt even be able to make +7 which i was able to make +10 before with that much.

    I totally understand your point guys however. The major reason for having this system is to have a bit more challenging upgrade. Meaning +10 gears is a symbol of power and status. Secondly this system is really good for the economy. Not alot of players are able to farm trophies and not all players have the patience to farm gold. So a mutual symbiosis can be made by the diff types of players in our no scrubs community. I hope you understand.

    I haven't played the new client yet (download issues) but is using the red protect card still available?? or removed as well??

    Coz looking @ this i'm going to guess upgrading an armor exspecially using tempering cards is going to be a major bitch.....at least change the system that if it fails it doesn't degrade always.....like b4 + it can never break.....

    It's called a challenge and having the elite gear is something earned by hard work and some luck. Everything given to you isn't much fun. Having a +10 item should be extremely rare.

    Sucess Rates are as follows:

    +1 100%
    +2 95%
    +3 85%
    +4 75%
    +5 65%
    +6 50%
    +7 50%
    +8 40$
    +9 20%
    +10 10%

    This is for both weapons and armor and I think it's reasonable. Look how cheap the advanced encant cards are on the vendor, look how often they now drop from killing monsters.

    It was way to easy to get +10 before, you all know that by all the spam of people hitting +10. +10 should be a challenge to get.

    I'll look into changing the mechanic so they don't drop back a level so easily but the protect cards will not be coming back any time soon since they do not work for gear above level 60. So unless I find a way to make them work sometime soon they are gone.

    You know what guys,if you are saying you love challenges then how about other players in game? you don't care about them,some of them are newb and lowbie?..i mean it's such a big bullsh*t stop being selfish man "Challenge" is everywhere in-game if you are really looking for it..and as for economy,do you think it's just that easy to earned 10m+ gold just to upgrade your gears without an assurances of maxing it grade..this server is far from retail level guys deal with it!?..if in retail +10 is showing your "Pride" or "Status"..there is too many things to do in here instead of making your gears +10 just like in retail which items is limited!?..Sometime i also seeing some lowbies maxing there green set just to survive in-game and i felt a little pity to them cuz they cant even afford to buy unique..so i really suggest is bring back the old enhancing system and about the gear level,u can nerfed its level right? just like what you did in Lv.65 gears before..sedy this server is already good and awesome you can see that in every voting site so please im begging you bring back the old enhancing system..

    Actually before when enhancing to +10, I often failed like 15times, and ever since I started playing Iris, It didn't happen that when I'm upgrading to +10 I didn't fail, even in this server. I wonder if theirs a single person manage to do it.

    but I understand the situation though, thats why you make the 65 gears to lvl 60 before because of this reason, and also other problem need to be fix first rather than this.

    There are no Protection cards in the game that Protect your gear above level 60, that's a fact. The retail server doesn't have any.
    In other games such as Flyff, you can get your items up to +6 and be happy, and then buy Scrolls with real money to get them above, and still have a chance to fail.

    This isn't the admin doing it, it's because there is NO actual CARD to do it ABOVE level 60.
    He is doing us all a favour by making the destruction chance to zero, please understand this.
    There's noone here being selfish or anything, its just what we can do with it as it is now.

    As he said above, if he can CODE a PROT card for you people, he will. On that you can trust me, he will.

    having this system helps alot of people lets not just think about "its hard upgrading qq" stuff. there are alot of factors in this change. just stick a little while an you will see.

    I made some changes to the rates. If you get a fail, it's only 5% chance that the fail will step you back a level. In my tests I used around 15-20 blue cards to +10 an epic level 65 armor or weapon, and in total 2 step backs.

    It will be in the patcher later today.

    Way to easy indeed. I suggest lowering the chances by alot. The only thing that was screwing up the enchant system before was the downgrade chance.

    Having thing's given and spoon fed to you will only make things boring. Bring on the challenge, who cares if +10 is harder to get because of this roll back. To get +10 will show some luck/dedication. Something that makes a game worth playing. Why do something if its too easy? Enjoy the game for the challenges in my opinion and not for something you can do in your sleep.

    Yeah I remember I was trying to plus my staff the day the patch came out. I got it to +2 and then ti failed and went back to +1 this happened about 3 times v.v I only managed to get it to +7 over 8mil gold.
